Cornerstone Assisted Riding & Equitherapy Code: CARE
We provide a therapeutic horseback riding program and equine-oriented activities for children and adults. Through equitherapy we help our students achieve not only physical strength, but also gain self assurance, the ability to learn new skills, increased willingness to communicate and an overall better quality of life.
Sonoma Change Program Code: CHANGE
The CHANGE Program is designed to be a community based, not for profit support network for the Sonoma County Animal Control department to call on during horse abuse, abandonment, or neglect cases. The program seeks to provide ancillary support services such as horse transportation, foster housing and care, veterinary work, farrier work, rehab and permanent adoption.
Sonoma Action for Equine Rescue Code: SAFER
Our Mission is to be an organization for Sonoma County and surrounding areas to rehome displaced horses and to educate the public concerning horse welfare and horse safety issues. We maintain an email alert list for notification of emergency issues concerning horse welfare. New hay assistance program. For those struggling to keep their horses fed this winter we offer a program of temporary hay and feed.
